Fees for Cremations - 2024/2025
From 1st April 2024 - 31 March 2025
No fee is charged for Body Parts, NVF's, stillborn babies or any child or person not exceeding 17 years old, at the time of death (with or without music) ∼ £nil
Direct Cremation (Monday to Friday 8.30am & 8.45am) * ∼ £483.00
A person whose age at the time of death is 18 years or over ** ∼ £980.00
A person whose age at the time of death is 18 years or over and did not live in the areas of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Middlesex** ∼ £1019.00
Cremation on a Saturday morning up to and including 11.00am ** ∼ £1125.00
Cremation on a Saturday, from 11.20am and up to and including 3.00pm ** ∼ £1186.00
Cremation on a Sunday or Bank Holiday (excluding Christmas Day) from 10.00am up to and including 12.00noon ** ∼ £1243.00
To receive cremated remains from another Crematorium for either burial (where permissible) or scattering in the Gardens of Remembrance ∼ £69.00
For the use of Chapel including the provision of music where required for a Memorial Service ∼ £500.00
For the use of Chapel including the provision of music where required for a Memorial Service on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday ∼ £500.00
For the use of Chapel including the provision of music where required for an additional length of service time Monday - Friday ∼ £500.00
For the use of Chapel including the provision of music where required for an additional length of service time on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday ∼ £500.00
For the provision of a baby’s or child’s white metal urn ∼ £10.00

Single Hold Photo (A single image that remains on screen throughout the entire service) ~ £20.00
Family Video, with original audio. (A family video or pre-made slideshow using original audio) ~ £20.00
Slideshow (A selection of up to 25 photos on a continuous loop throughout the entire service) ~ £50.00
For each set of 25 additional photos ~ £30.00
Slideshow With Music (A selection of up to 25 photos and/or video set to a piece of music) ~ £80.00

* A direct cremation is a service where there is no mourners, music or minster/celebrant in attendance. These services take place Monday to Friday at 8.30 am and 8.45 am. The coffin is taken into the Chapel and committed immediately. The fee includes £50 Environmental Charge and £19 Medical Referee fee.
** This fee includes £50 Environmental fee, £19 Medical Referee fee, use of the Chapel with an organist or the Wesley music system. It also includes a biodegradable container for the removal of cremated remains or the scattering of the cremated remains in the Gardens of Remembrance (with or without witness).
